I've only got good things to say about Paul and his work. As others have said, he is personable and knowledgeable about his areas of expertise considering his years of experience. For me, he did some replacement tiles in the valley of my roof, some replacement flashing and sealing of my other flashing. He organised it and did it in short shrift, all without issue. I'd happily use him again and would equally recommend him to anyone wanting someone who walks the walls and talk the talk.

Paul with Mark carried out repairs to our roof which involved replacing broken tiles and patching the felt lining. He also repointed a brick chimney which had been in a poor state. Paul's solution was to repair the roof rather than completely strip and re line it (which another trader had offered to do) which has saved us a considerable amount of money and will hopefully last many years. A 5 year guarantee for the work was provided. I would be happy to recommend this company.

It's taken me a while to find a roofer I can trust - highly recommend Paul as he's been a pleasure to deal with and true to his word. Helped resolve an issue other roofers couldnt solve and even came back to fix things a few months later when another issue came up. He's now the only roofer I'll use.

Paul and Brad renewed my roof and finished the job last week. From.the beginning Paul explained what was happening and when , the only delays were weather related (this year has been terrible for rain)
But when they started they worked methodically, section by section.
The finishing is excellent, I compare to others as I drive to work and have yet to see similar workmanship.
Clearly the fact that Paul and Brad have 80 years experience between them clearly shows.
When choosing or reviewing please be aware there are more than one company with the same name..( discovered this when trying to leave a review on trust a trader) so make sure you ask for Paul.

Asset Roofing Specialists did a great job on the roof after a leakage through the extension part of the property.
Paul had also spotted a potential issue with the chimney, which they were able to repair.
They were friendly and yet professional when it came to the task at hand.

Paul was great. I had several estimates all recommending lots of work. Paul was conservative with the work that was needed and gave me plenty of advice on how and when to look for issues with my roof myself going forward. He even held off doing some work in view of the weather (which I hadn’t checked and probably cost him a morning of work elsewhere). Honest, punctual, hardworking. So refreshing.

Highly recommend Paul and colleague, installed new ridge tiles, re-pointed chimney. Provided before and after photos, checked gutters were clear, all rubbish taken away. Experienced and friendly roofer, impressed with finished job.

Paul was always quick to respond to messages and very honest about the work that needed doing (and crucially what wasn't worth spending money on currently). He was knowledgeable, punctual, friendly, and reliable.

Our bedroom ceiling was leaking quite badly, and it had been raining A LOT (July 2023). They repaired and sealed one of the valley gutters which had worn considerably over time and was causing the leak, replaced/adjusted various slipped or broken slates, cleaned the gutters, and advised on the general condition of the roof. They were also happy for us to keep the scaffolding up for as long as we wanted, at no extra cost, whilst we made sure we were happy with everything.

An added note - When I was looking for a roofer, I did extensive research and checked not only the reviews but the reviewers themselves. Lots of companies look good on the surface, but if you dig deeper and check out the profiles of the reviewers and who else they've reviewed you start to see patterns (often reviewing the exact same companies as each other, or reviewing 4 roofers at the same time). I could tell from the reviews for Asset Roofing that they were genuine, rather than paid for/faked as some others unfortunately seem to be. I'm pleased to be able to add my own positive review here.

Paul was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. His advice was that our roof was actually fine and that the problem lay elsewhere. He also didn't charge us for this visit. A true professional. Asset Roofing repaired our home roof in Perivale replacing two old lead valleys and around 50 broken and degraded roof tiles. Paul and his colleague James were not only very knowledge and professional but also very friendly and pleasant to deal with. They also organised the scaffolding and kindly allowed us to keep it up longer after the roof work was complete so a decorator could repaint the fascias and soffit. Paul and Don have just completed a very professional repair to our flat roof. They were polite, clean and tidy and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We had a broken tile on our roof which was causing it to leak badly. We contacted Paul on a Monday morning and he returned the call promptly, asked us to send photos to show where the problem was. Later that day he phoned to tell us the cost and the work was done on the Tuesday. He also did some other work which he discovered needed doing while he was on the roof. He took photos to show us what he had done. We were very pleased with the work done.

We were having problems with a leaking roof in our house extension due to the wrong kind of tiles used on the roof by our builder. After some research on Trustatrader, we decided to call Asset Roofing as the company had a lot of positive reviews. Spoke to Paul who came the same day to inspect the roof. The following day we received a quotation for existing roof tiles replacement and adjustments required to make the roof watertight around the velux windows. His quote listed in detail the materials to be used and was also reasonably priced.
The work carried out by Paul’s team (Arron and James) was to a high standard. As well as laying a new roof they rectified other problems, like inadequately fixed facia and lead flashing. We were very satisfied with their workmanship, punctuality and leaving the site tidy after the work was completed.
In addition to the new roof on our extension we had our porch roof retiled, which also looks great.

My leaking gutter was only a small job which a lot of firms aren’t interested in fixing. However, not so Paul and co, who did a great job cleaning it out and then sealing it so it was watertight. At last, no more drips. Thanks!

They were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. When I called to fix a tile due to a leak, I also asked if they would be able to repoint the roof and fix any further damage that had been caused. They arranged to come asap and agreed a reasonable price for the initial work and agreed to review if there was any further damage and to give a quote if any further work was required. They arrived on time and started immediately. The completed the work quickly and even though they had to use a different tile (the originals are no longer manufactured), they used one as close to the originals as possible and swapped this with an existing tile at a less visible part of the roof so you wouldn't be able to tell. They then informed me that there was no further damage and did not try to create more work.
Overall they were great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need and would contact them first if I have any further problems.

Paul and his team did a terrific job in repairing the valleys in an area of the roof which happened to be one of the most difficult parts to get to. However, they got there and did a terrific job for us. The team were punctual and clean throughout and minimised any disruption to us and to our neighbours which was greatly appreciated. Couldn't have asked more. Responded very quickly to my first call, came and inspected the following day and arranged to complete the repairs the next. Unfortunately, it was raining so they immediately suggested to return in 24 hours which they did, bright and early! It wasn't a tricky job, but one that needed doing and well; they dd this beyond doubt, as well as spotting another issue on another roof which they then attended to whilst here. Very pleased with the level of work they carried out; thorough and done with great care. Price was very competitive, the guys were really easy to deal with and they just got on with the job. Terrific!
